Blue Pearl Bay, Whitsundays

After finishing another divine season in the Whitsundays, Karen was due for a visit home whilst Ron welcomed the northerly winds and started the passage down the south.

After a relaxing two weeks at Noosa, where Karen jumped back onboard, we started the journey south again to Sydney.

First stop Mooloolaba, then via the broad waters of Morton Bay towards a little slice of perfection, Sanctuary Cove, where we were welcomed by our beautiful new cruising buddies, Clare and Wayne Kirby (of Clear Horizons). After one wonderful week of laughter, wine, lunches, wines and oh, did anyone say wine, we quickly slammed back to reality once in Bums Bay (aka free mooring on the Gold Coast), where we caught up with Amanda Fay and her lovely boys for lunch onboard, some great laughs and intelligent conversation!

We are now only 55 nautical miles off Pittwater and the Hawkesbury where we will spend several weeks before heading to Port Jackson, Sydney harbour for Christmas and New Year.Karen's MarlinBeached at Hill Inlet
